The F’s have to get bleeped out before 10 pm, but after that? Almost any animated show can be aired. The live action shows typically feature language, nudity/sex, or violence that preclude normal broadcast airings. For far, far less than the actor was demanding.Įven so, it is such easy money, and it could go on for a while, so why stop the gravy train? Plus, animated shows can be sold into syndication. Point being, when it is just a voice and not a face, a voice is very easy to approximate. The voice cast eventually got over 300K per ep (negotiated down since then), and everyone was happy. Years ago, the Simpsons voice actors tried to hold out for absurd money (like near friends money), and Fox told them they could replace every voice by holding auditions at several universities. It might not be millions a year, but it is a very easy couple 100K or more. Its a couple days now, a couple days later, maybe a couple for a few weeks later for finishing touches. Further, voice over acting for an animated show amounts to about a weeks work (for the 8-10 eps on a streamer), or 2-3 for a regular net animated show (22 ish eps). And those few exceptions are usually profit participants, so they don’t escalate money wise.

Nominees and winners at the Emmys were decided in a single round by panels that reviewed sample performance reels, and for her submission Konefal focused on a confrontation scene in which she angrily accused her niece Claire ( Olivia Rose Keegan) of setting off a bomb at her wedding to Ben ( Robert Scott Wilson). “It was a lot more intimate than a ceremony would have been,” Victoria Konefal remembers about the night of June 25, when she won her first Daytime Emmy: Best Younger Performer in a Drama Series for playing Ciara on “ Days of Our Lives.” The ceremony on CBS was pre-taped, and no one who recorded acceptance speeches during the show knew whether they actually won until it aired, so Konefal learned the result at a viewing party where she was surrounded by family and friends.
